2020 rings in a new logo and location for Mrs. Padilly of MrsPadillys.com and MrsPadillysTravels.com!
Since 2012, I’ve been blogging as a Texas lifestyle and travel writer, but in the fall of 2019, the Padilly’s moved to Florida!
In this new local, my Texas Padilly logo no longer fits my brand. It came time to make a new one while keeping elements of the old.
Since my new home is in the “Sunshine State” I removed the mask of Texas over my background image and added a mask of the sun.
By keeping my background image, which I created when I spray painted my name on one of the cars at the Cadillac Ranch near Amarillo, Texas, I feel as tho I keep one foot in Texas, while boldly taking the other and stepping into Florida.
However, it’s going to take me time to get used to this new logo, as I so loved it with the shape of Texas…
As they say, you can take a Texan out of Texas, but you can’t take Texas out of a Texan.
I’ve been quiet for well over a year, I know, but a lot has been happening behind the scenes. I’m very excited about this new horizon, along with its beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
